Charter Air Transportation Services is currently recruiting a Flight Dispatch Coordinator, Toronto. 

DESCRIPTION:Coordinate and support all private flights (POC), commercial charter flights (703/704 AOC) and supplemental charter flights operated by or in support of Charter Air Transportations Services Inc. operations.

Coordinate the daily scheduling of flights in support of overall flight logistics while maintaining the highest levels of safety and security. Action flight crew requests for pilot assistance within established Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Company policies and procedures. Provide cost effective evaluations for the use of all private and charter flight operations. Be an active hub of communication within the operations department of the company.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate the activities of mission planning, crew scheduling, and flight following while ensuring compliance with all applicable Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and the Company Operations manual.
• Operate in accordance with policies and procedures for safety, cost saving, training, communication, information sharing, and emergency planning.
• Provide information on airports, cost estimates, routing, flight times, and international permit/visa requirements as needed in the planning and development stages of a flight.
• Assist with client requests for charter quotations in a timely manner.
• Review, prepare and submit post flight expense reports
• Work in the fast paced 24/7 environment of Business Aviation requiring non-standard work hours and on call response.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma (Aviation Management), or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Knowledge of aircraft/airfield terminology, aircraft systems operations/functions and aircraft logistics support requirements.
• Experience with international flight operations
• Strong organizational skills - detail oriented ability to prioritize and be proactive.
• Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision.
