Customer Service Agent – Permanent Full Time
YVR – South
Terminal
Reporting to the Manager, Ground Operations, the Customer
Service Agent is responsible for upholding the Vision and Values of the Company
by delivering exceptional customer experiences. Duties include customer
inquiries and check-ins, in person reservations, boarding gate operations, and
baggage processing. Other responsibilities are coordination of operations
including meeting and greeting aircraft and passengers, passenger assistance,
radio communication and load planning calculations. The CSA is responsible for
ensuring that all customer interactions are treated with a high degree of
customer service, while ensuring a professional and safe work environment for
all customers and personnel.
The rate of pay commences at $13.26 an
hour.
Skills, knowledge and abilities:
• Demonstrates an exceptional
level of customer service that focuses on the customer experience
• Is
solution oriented with the ability to quickly identify and address all customer
concerns and needs
• Works together as part of a strong, competent and
cohesive team with all levels of employees within the organization
• Uses
good judgment to problem solve and handle multiple priorities at one time, with
minimal supervision
• Understands and upholds Standard Operating Procedures
and the Safety Management System
• Possess an excellent understanding of
company products and services and effectively promotes them at all times
•
Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
and data entry
• Completes tasks in an efficient and accurate manner.
Requirements:
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds of luggage and
able to assist passengers in and out of aircraft if required
• Is able to
work varied shifts including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to
work outdoors during inclement weather conditions
