Position: Air Pilots (NOC 2271)
Employer: Air Labrador Limited
Location: 85 Dakota Drive, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, A0P 1C0
Wages: As per Collective Agreement, base pay of $1175.46 per month plus mileage pay.
($16.21 / hour OR $ 140.00 x total statute mile)
Shifts: AS per the Collective Agreement on duty period shall be in accordance with
Transport Canada Regulations - 14 hour duty day.
Benefits: Dental/Health/Medical after 6 months’ probation
Vacancy: 1
Main duties:
• Fly fixed wing aircraft to transport passengers and freight
• Conduct pre-flight inspection of aircraft and check passenger and cargo distribution to ensure that weight and balance specifications are met
• Direct activities of aircraft crew during flight, as captain of aircraft
• Co-pilot aircraft and perform captain's duties if required, as first officer
• Test new aircraft to evaluate aircraft performance
• Monitor operation of engines, fuel consumption and functioning of aircraft systems during flight
• Assist captain in operation of aircraft as First Officer.
• Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• Must have completed a minimum of 200 hours of flying
• Must have an Airline Pilots Licence with a Multi-engine, IFR rating
• Current Aviation Medical certificate required
• Excellent communicational skills in English required
• Transport Canada Dispatch License required
