Air Bravo Corp. requires a Director of
Operations.
We operate 5 Pilatus PC12’s out of 3 bases in
Ontario, largely in service to ORNGE, the Air Ambulance provider to the ON
Gov’t. We also provide charter services, both on long-term contract and an
ad-hoc basis, to major organizations.
Candidates must have experience in
a Management capacity with a 703/704 operation, and the familiarity,
qualifications, and ability to perform an Ops Manager’s functions, including,
but not limited to:
• Liason with Transport Canada, and ensure all facets
of Operation are conducted in accordance with CARS and/or Company Policies,
etc.
• Oversee and work closely with the Chief Pilot, Ops Dept. (Dispatch)
Supervisor, Paramedic Base Supervisors.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance
Dept. for scheduled, and AOG situations.
• Assist the Chief Pilot/Training
Captains with training programs.
• Assist with preparation of RFP/RFQ’s as
required.
• Coordinate and assist in Operational Audits as required by TC,
AR/GUS International, etc.
• Assist in Pilot Recruitment, training schedules,
and Pilot scheduling.
• Assist in coordination of the Day-to-Day/IR
operations.
• Administer SMS and develop CAP’s in conjunction with the
Safety Committee.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess an
ATPL, and ACP designation.
The position is based out of Thunder Bay, ON,
reporting jointly to the President and General Manager.
