North Cariboo Air is currently recruiting an Aerodrome Supervisor, Kirby Lake

Job Purpose
Aerodrome Supervisor will report directly to the Airport Manager and provide direction and supervision to staff associated with aircraft ground handling, field maintenance, customer check-in and the day to day operations of the Aerodrome as outlined below:

Scope of Work - Aerodrome (CRL4)
- Representation, Administration, Staffing and Supervision
- Ramp Services, check in support and administration
- Aerodrome Field Maintenance Supervision
- Oversee Aircraft Fueling Program
- General Maintenance and Support Services, Tracking Systems
- Training and Manuals
- Safety
- Specific Equipment and Materials
- Personnel / Company Uniform, PPE and Miscellaneous
- Lost Baggage Recovery
- On Time Performance
- Passenger Services

Role and Responsibilities
- Meet aircraft upon arrival and liaise with crews.
- Decide on non-routine matters.
- Ability to work under pressure, and give concise direction to staff 
- Verify dispatch of operational messages when required
- Note irregularities and inform.
- Develop training portfolios, and track training records
- Order/track stock based on operational requirements
- Liaise with vendors and contractors pertaining to facilities and equipment maintenance
- Report to Manager regarding performance issues with staffing
- Conduct cross shift meetings (minutes) with staff, create uniform policies/procedures
- Liaise with North Cariboo Air regarding company changes/endeavors
- Staff scheduling, provide weekly manifest updates for crew charter
- Approve overtime, ensure operational targets are met
- Contribute to, and support NCA’s and Devon’s SMS program
- Help to create operational SOPs 
- Adhere and administer Devon EHS protocols 
- All other duties assigned by Aerodrome Manager

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Post secondary education or equivalent aviation experience and education.
- Minimum three years Field Maintenance experience at an Aerodrome/Airport or equivalent
- Ability to hold a Transport Canada airside security pass.

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Must have excellent management, communication and organizational skills.
- Must be willing and able to pass a Devon Drug & Alcohol test
