We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a verifiably successful track record to join our Team as Senior Specialist, Business Development. This is a Full Time Permanent Position, based in Calgary, AB that offers competitive salary, commission plan, a comprehensive benefit package and match pension plan.

Summary
The Senior Specialist, Business Development is a full-time role to support and facilitate the development of strategic business plans and marketing programs for North Cariboo Air. The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Development Team to strengthen current client relationships, identify and target opportunities and drive marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new business.

This position reports to the Director, Business Development and is located at our Calgary Base.



Roles and Responsibilities
- Present and sell company services to current and potential clients; follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific sales targets and to project account activity; follow up with status reports to ensure business objectives are on track.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts; develop and maintain marketing material
- Establish and maintain current and potential client relationships.
- Manage account services and customer satisfaction through quality checks and follow-up; identify and resolve client concerns.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.

Experience and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business or a related field.
- Five to ten years sales experience.
- Experience in project based business solutions with the ability to prepare, interpret, and present solutions from a financial perspective
- Demonstrated experience working with executives in a C suite setting
- Experience with related fields of Workforce Logistics an asset
- Aviation knowledge and experience an asset
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
