The Airport
Operations Associate Certificate Program's purpose is to provide workers,
currently employed by local, regional and international airports in Canada, the
United States and globally with the opportunity to upgrade their technical and
airport administration business skills. It will also be of benefit to those
individuals who are not currently employed by an airport but are considering a
career in airport operations.
This
program consists of eight mandatory courses and one elective course totaling 25
- 27 credits. The program will focus on technological advancements in airport
operations in such areas as security systems, airport master planning, airport
safety, emergency preparedness and airport management practices.
Please
note that students wishing to enroll in the full-time Airport Operations program
can also take some of the courses offered through this Associate Certificate
online in order to reduce their course load once accepted into the full-time
intake.

Please
note that most of the courses offered through this Associate Certificate are
offered online, however we do also have some courses that are offered
face-to-face.
