Canadian North is currently recruiting a Manager, Cargo Training, Standards, and Quality Assurance Responsibilities: • Evaluate training needs to ensure exceptional customer service is provided in a consistent manner at all cargo facilities • Develop and facilitate operational, system and organizational training programs as required • Play a key role in the implementation, development and training of the new Cargo Management System • Develop & maintain training records for all programs and provide to internal and external parties as required • Develop and implement Quality Assurance Program for Cargo Department • Ensure that relevant training programs and Cargo personnel are working in full compliance with Transport Canada regulations • Responsible for revisions to the Cargo Operations Manual and communication of same as required • Conduct and/or supervise audits to assess adherence to Canadian North Policies/Procedures and provide written feedback as needed • Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System program and demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety • Travel to other Canadian North stations as required • Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications: • High School Diploma and/or equivalent experience • Demonstrates leadership and communication skills • High degree of self-motivation and commitment to work in a dynamic environment • Minimum 2 years experience in a Cargo environment and/or training environment • Strong ability to motivate employees to learn and apply skills • Strong background in PC Skills; Knowledge of Freightpath is considered an asset • Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal organizational and training skills • Knowledge of Canadian North Cargo standards and procedures is considered an asset • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances Salary Range & Benefits: • To be discussed in accordance with skills and experience • Comprehensive Health Benefits Plan, Pension Plan, Travel Privileges Additional Information: To apply for this position visit http://www.canadiannorth.com and click on the on-line application under the Careers section.
