Reports to the Manager Crew Resources. 
 
Responsibilities include:  
 
·         To provide support for the monthly crew roistering for all pilots and flight attendants.
·         To ensure crew competency records are maintained.
·         Short notice adjustments and coordination of training events for crew members that have been affected by last minute changes to their schedules.
·         The accurate logging and tracking all crew member and dispatcher training events within the crew qualification system.
·         To pro-actively identify and report opportunities for improvement that will alleviate and improve crew training issues as well as reduce unnecessary crew training expenses.
·         To monitor Canadian Aviation Regulations compliance issues pertaining to crew members  and to report all noncompliance issues  to the Chief Pilot and the Director of Inflight  as appropriate
·         The maintenance, accuracy and timely calculation of pay for pilot and flight attendants.
·         To ensure all changes within crew scheduling systems are updated as requested in a timely manner.
·         To create and run all reports from the scheduling system, including but not limited to 14 hour duty violations, reserve availability and  crew productivity reports
·         The coordination of Marketing Schedule changes
·         To assist the  Manager Crew Resources with crew member bidding processes
·         To assist the Manger Crew Resources with  crew member blocking and pairing optimization
·         To assist with the maintenance of the annual  pilot and flight attendant manpower plan
·         To ensure the implementation of effective corrective actions identified through the Safety Management System for matters pertaining to crew member scheduling issues including Fatigue mitigation strategies.
·         Attend all new hire Pilot and Flight Attendant classes to clarify and discuss department processes.
·         Responsible to assist in crew member staff planning sessions by evaluating the proposed aircraft delivery schedule, the proposed operating schedule and the training requirements to meet those schedules.
 
Qualifications:
·         Scheduling, payroll and planning experience, aviation industry experience is preferred.
·         In depth knowledge of flight schedules and operations in relation to network planning requirements.
·         An understanding and application knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations regarding crew qualification, crew duty day limitations, crew rest requirements.
·         In depth understanding of pay concepts for crew members.
·         Strong organizational, analytical, and implementation skills.
·         Strong decision making skills & ability to choose the best course of action to address all business problems & opportunities.
·         Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
·         Strong people and rapport building skills.
·         Project  management skills.
