Aero Logistics America offers leasing of heated hangar space to aircraft
of various sizes, leasing of office suites and light industrial space to aviation related businesses and sales of a large inventory of Fokker F-28 aircraft parts.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The GM would be responsible for:
• Planning and overseeing of the entire business operations.
• Acting as the primary interface with the Airport Authority, or any other customers and
suppliers at the local and corporate levels.
• Preparing and ensuring adherence to the annual budgets and the financial oversite of the
facility (budgeting, forecasting, etc).
• Customer satisfaction and retention, and for the performance of business. Takes lead
role in maintaining existing business and developing new business by monitoring
margins, negotiating hangar agreements and problem resolution with the customer base.
• Compliance with all rules, regulations, and policies as issued by local, state, and federal
authorities.
• Lead and develop employees to perform to the highest of standards.
We are searching for a General Manager to lead our team and who will serve as a primary point of contact for existing customers, operational leadership, and drive market and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, positive, enthusiastic, goal oriented individual.
• Manage a cross functional team that includes operations/maintenance, customer service, sales, and admintration, accounting and motivates employees to outperform their respective targets and benchmarks. Will oversee a combined staff of approximately 6 employees.
• Oversee all business functions of the Hangar including proper delivery of services, condition of physical building, staffing, equipment and maintenance of same.
• Ensures that all financial and legal matters are attended in a timely manner and acts as a liaison between lawyers, customers, suppliers and contractors, with the CEO/owner and with the headquarters in Spain and other directors in United States.
• Ensures the smooth operation of the business.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience managing customer relationships, a track record of successful business development, operational leadership experience, and financial acumen.
Previous aviation/FBO management experience is a plus.
Previous Aiport Operations experience is a plus
Other aviation related experience is a plus.
Flexibility with your schedule is a must as we operate 24 hours a day. Flexible work schedule may include working overtime, nights, on weekends, holidays, and be on call.
Prefer Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field of study.
Prefer 5 + years of demonstrated financial, administrative and management capabilities. Demonstrated track record of excellence (Sales and general business management)

Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
Additional Languages: Spanish and or French (preferred but not a must).
Valid driver’s license
