Services now include frequent flights connecting downtown Vancouver, downtown Victoria, Nanaimo, Richmond (YVR), Sechelt, Comox, the Gulf Islands and Whistler along with a wide selection of scenic adventure tours, private charters, freight services and aircraft maintenance.

We are currently recruiting for a Flight Follower to join our Richmond based team. The Flight Follower is responsible for facilitating safe and timely movements of all company aircraft. 

RESPONSIBILITES: 
•Perform effective flight following for all aircraft movements including scheduled, chartered and ad hoc flights
•Release flights in accordance with Harbour Air applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
•Identify, anticipate, and take corrective action to minimize actual/potential delays due to weather, scheduling, operations, crew legality, and maintenance issues
•Process charters and ensure relevant information is completed in an accurate and timely manner
•Liaise with the Maintenance department to schedule aircraft maintenance and other functions
•Meet and exceed safety and service standards
•Monitor flight and duty times to comply with company operations manual
•Other duties as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS: 
•Committed to safety and the willingness to take service to a higher level
•Superior communication skills and driven to be an effective member of a team
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast paced and demanding environment 
•Experience in the aviation industry and technical knowledge of aircraft
•Demonstrated computer knowledge and experience working in a Windows based platform
•Ability to work flexible schedules including: evenings, weekends, and holidays
•Geographical knowledge of the south coast an asset
•Experience with Booking Agent, Charters and Google Earth an asset 
•Dispatching license and/or dispatch experience an asset
•Industry Canada Restricted Operator Radio Certificate an asset
