Duties and Responsibilities Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
- Build a work culture such that maximizing revenue, optimizing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction are key to drive effectiveness
- Identifies, creates, actions, maintains, protects and maximizes revenue opportunities with all customers
- Maximizes sales of domestic and international charters within Canada and internationally
- Responsible for drafting/presentation/implementation of new charter/cargo/passenger contract and/or RFP's
- Organizes charter logistics and advises relevant First Air and outside agencies to ensure customer's needs are met
- Monitors and maintains existing contracts
- Develops and maintains a current and prospective customer profile database, including existing and future charter/cargo/passenger customers
- Be the prime point of contact for all customers in the assigned region
- Builds and maintains relationships with customers
- Responsible for the ongoing development of sales and marketing of aircraft
- Develop and report progress of prospective adhoc charter services
- Ensure customer satisfaction of all contract operations
- Responsible for expense and revenue budget, including monthly cost and revenue analysis
- Represents First Air professionally in conferences, trade shows and other community/promotional events across Canada
- Ensures preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual reports, analyze revenue performance and identify avenues for maximizing revenue
- Provides accurate analysis, forecasts and intelligence on relevant Northern issues with direct revenue opportunities in the assigned Region
- Enhances First Air's sponsorship opportunities
- Works to meet and exceed established sales targets
- Provides excellent internal and external customer service
- Negotiates, prepares and signs off on contract
- Active member of the First Air Emergency Response team
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications:
- Successful completion of a 2 year diploma in Business with a focus on Marketing preferred.
- 3 years experience with charter/cargo/sales management experience, preferably in the aviation industry
- Demonstrated quote preparation, negotiation and sales skills required
- Extensive knowledge of logistics coordination, cargo handling procedures/capabilities, fleet capabilities
- Cost analysis, budget experience, forecasting and statistical analysis experience required
- Ability to communicate both written and orally with all levels of the business community and government agencies
- Demonstrated organizational, leadership, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must be adept to handling multiple tasks and prioritizing duties
- On call availability and willingness to travel extensively, as required.
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and within tight deadlines
- Northern related experience considered an asset
- Solid computer skills, including the full MS Office Suite/ Excel and Word required
- Ability to communicate in Aboriginal languages considered an asset
- Must hold a valid drivers license and a valid passport
- Must be willing and able to travel extensively to meet perform sales obligations and community visits.
- Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada.
