Assures and provides excellent training services to internal and external employees and customers within the Station.  Job Responsibilities  Provides initial orientation training to new employees Maintains and provides recurrent training on timely bases Revises and updates training needs and programs Designs, develops, and implements continuous training and personnel development Maintains, up-date company’s training and customer’s manuals and documentation Implements and communicates the local emergency plan Maintains good relations with employees, customers, and airport authorities Identifies and satisfies all training needs Maintains training files and records orderly, updated, and in good standing, available to management All other duties as assigned Qualifications and Competencies High school diploma or GED equivalent Leadership and people management skills A proven ability to problem solving and decision making experience Planning and organizing skills Airline and/or ramp experience is an asset Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English Ability to understand and deal with conflicts Computer literate (Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work under pressure Customer focus and quality awareness Understanding for and tolerance of foreign cultures Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Swissport as an equal opportunity employer bases its hiring decisions on the business need and the best qualified candidates available, and does not discriminate in its employment decisions on the basis of any protected category.
