Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and forecast operational situations
- Prepare daily operations irregularity reports listing flight disruptions, significant delays and any relevant notes regarding operations.
- Develop contingencies for the protection of passengers and their baggage
- Manage day of APIS messaging and International flight paperwork including obtaining landing and overflight permits
- Coordinate incident or accident efforts in accordance with the procedures set out in the Emergency Response/Security Manuals
- Liaise with flight dispatch, crew scheduling, tour operators, airport handling companies, airport authorities, commissary companies, and other related agencies for commercial aspects of daily operational planning.
- Maintain coordination with local airport authorities regarding gate scheduling and facility issues
- Maintain coordination with ramp and passenger handling contractors regarding issues affecting service
- Provide assistance for airport operations and agents throughout the airport system
- Assist with the application and enforcement of company policy and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in Airline Operations is required
- Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in French and English;
- Above average time management skills;
- Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities on a moment's notice.
