North Cariboo Air is currently recruiting a Manager Customer Service (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Job Description:
Handles inquiries both in person and on the phone, and provides information and assistance to clients according to established procedures. Working in conjunction with the business development team, interacts with specific customer(s) via telephone, in person and in other customer focused settings as required. Manages the Customer Service and Reservation Team. The hours of work for this position are 40 hours per week based on customer departures, arrivals, flight requests and service requirements.

Role and Responsibilities
 Manage the correspondence control system for specific client(s), Director of Sales & Marketing, and the responsible Account Managers by ensuring that documents/calls/requests received are processed, tracked, actioned, or delegated to the appropriate personnel.
 Guide the delivery of service from the inception of a flight through to completion.
 Coordinate passenger manifests.
 Coordinate departure times and aircraft availability with Operations Control Centre.
 Follow up with customers to ensure that all flights have been conducted to the customers’ satisfaction.
 Work with the flight crew to assist in the delivery of service details.
 Accurate data entry for various flight details.
 Ensure a smooth flow of information between clients and North Cariboo Air.
 Compile and integrate customer information including invoicing reports
 Ability to maintain good working relationship with customers, employees, and department staff.
 Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information.
 Should be motivated by providing executive level customer service.
 Clear speaking voice in the English language.
 Ability to maintain confidentiality.
 This position requires professionalism in appearance and demeanor
 Flexible in work habits and work schedule; shift work may apply with start times between 5:30 a.m. and 10:00a.m.
 Actively support the company Safety Management System by participating in the program.
 Other duties as assigned.
 Reports to General Manager

Qualifications and Education Requirements
 Previous customer service experience required
 Ability to hold a Transport Canada airside security pass
 Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
 Experience working with and supporting senior and executive level management.
 Ability to exercise sound judgment in setting priorities and dealing with time sensitive issues.
 Highly adaptable with the ability to respond to rapidly shifting priorities and deadlines.
 Initiative and self managing skills to work independently with minimal direction and to respond effectively to issues that arise.
 Ability to work in a fast paced environment and interact with various levels of management and senior leaders.
 Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism and integrity.
 Excellent organizational and time management skills.
 Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Language requirements are bilingual. However, in the event a qualified bilingual candidate is not found, a qualified unilingual candidate will be considered. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills
Post secondary education in the travel discipline an asset
 Previous aviation experience would be an asset
 MS Office computer skills an asset.

Salary:$60,000-75,000
