Air Canada rouge is currently recruiting a MANAGER – SAFETY, TRAINING AND TEAM ENGAGEMENT, DEPARTMENT: In-Flight Service, Air Canada rouge LOCATION: MISSISSAUGA SCOPE: Under the direction of the Director, In-Flight Service, responsible for the development, communication and implementation of safety, training, onboard standards and procedures, including aircraft programs and content of cabin crew publications. Responsible for developing innovative and effective ways of team engagement using innovative tools and available social medias. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop and implement effective and innovative communication vehicles to engage team members while connecting their contribution to the team and the company; • Developing amendments for Flight Attendant Initial Training, Requalification Training, Recurrent Training; First Aid training, and CRM program, incorporating any previously issued safety memos, data and/or bulletins; • Actively support, encourage and champion the Corporate SMS culture, Safety policy and Non-Punitive Reporting Policy; • Develop, communicate and maintain regulatory procedures (Part A and Part B) as well as associated training programs; • Develop, communicate and maintain onboard service delivery procedures including product briefs for proposed new products and services; • Develop and maintain communication specifications and standards; • Assess and respond to crew reports, develop and implement corrective action plans to address issues; • Implement and comply with all regulatory provisions of CARs, CLC Part II, COSH and AOSH; • Actively manage and participate in the day to day operations KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: • Three (3) to five (5) years of In-Flight experience in a management role within a commercial airline; • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred with a background in Communication; • Proficiency in English required with French an asset; • Indoctrination Training o Flight Attendant training o CARs o SMS o COSH/AOSH o Canada Labor Code Those who are interested, please submit your cover letter and CV to rougeresumes@vacv.com DEADLINE TO APPLY: January 25, 2013 |
