Flight Operations - Charter Specialist (YVR South)

The Flight Operations Charter Specialist works alongside the Dispatchers to provide scheduling support for charters as well as required training for the flight crews. As well, the Charter Specialist will answer charter inquiries, create and maintain bookings and be of assistance to the Manager of Flight Operations with administrative duties. RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer all charter inquiries and process all charter bookings Liaise with Reservations as well as the Revenue Management Coordinator to create additional revenue flights as needed Provide the Scheduler and Dispatcher assistance in scheduling various training flights Monitor flight and duty times to comply with company operations manual Other duties as assigned by Flight Operations manager QUALIFICATIONS/ ABILITIES: Committed to safety and the willingness to take service to a higher level Superior communication skills and driven to be an effective member of a team Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast paced and demanding environment Experience in the aviation industry and technical knowledge of aircraft Demonstrated computer knowledge and experience working in a Windows based platform Ability to work flexible schedules including: evenings, weekends, and holidays Geographical knowledge of the south coast an asset Experience with Booking Agent, Charters and Fugawi an asset Dispatching license and/or dispatch experience an asset Required experience: aviation, aircraft technical knowledge, Windows based platform: 2 years For further information, or to apply, please click here
