POSITION SUMMARY:
The Administrator, Crew Support will report to the Manager, Flight Operations Administration and perform a variety of administrative tasks which support the Flight Operations Department, including crew support, manual updates and distribution, supply ordering and meeting administration.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administered the Master filing index that is on the company server
- Issue task cards for maintenance engineer with checking overall condition and revision status of the applicable MFI manual
- Preform annual check of all physical review of all on board MFI document on each aircraft during block check servicing
- Ensure the assign company and aircraft manuals are up to date and distributed
- Order all Operation Clothing and distribute to the appropriate manager
- Administer all office supplies for upstairs Hangar including
- Assist and support Quality Assurance findings and SMS corrective action plans
- Communication Coordinator for the Emergency Response Team
- Ensure that the Emergency Response Manual is distributed to the appropriate team members from the direction of the Team Chief or delegate
- Assist the Training Records Department with crew training records
- Assist with the Flight Operations quality control duties
- Administer the Pilot Seniority List and update monthly
- Amend and track currency of Transport Canada publications, FAA publications an Approach Plates
- Coordinate & track distribution of all Flight Operation Dept. company manuals and documents and process applicable amendments, including uploading to the company SOCC WEB
- Run Online Training Report every month and post for Flight Crews on the crewmember.wasaya.com
- Other related duties assigned by the Manager, Flight Operations Administration or SMS Administration
- Any other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years previous administrative experience or an equivalent combination of related post-secondary education and work experience
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of supplies and equipment
- Superior time management skills, multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and database software
- Able to maintain filing systems and basic databases
- Meticulous records maintenance skills
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Strong customer service orientation
Assets:
- Ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs; Repetitively
- Manual dexterity
- Overtime may be required
- Travel may be required
